As we get ready to reopen our schools and colleges a safe reopening process is vital. Installing the latest technology to safeguard students, staff and visitors is paramount. The Hikvision system provides;
1. Temperature Screening...Students, staff and visitors are screened for elevated temperatures (accuracy +/- .5 degrees) unobtrusively from a distance, in real time, without the need for queuing. Any alarms are managed instantly. If presented with an elevated temperature the camera will issue an audible warning announcement with an indication light. That alarmed video event will be sent to the building Covid Officer either over a network or directly to a smart phone using the free Hikvision app.
2. Face Mask Detection...An audible announcement is issued if a person is not wearing a Face mask.
3. Time and Attendance...The Deep in mind Network Video recorder allows for the creation of a database of faces to track time and attendance. The camera uses analytics to process each individual face (with or without a mask) when presented at the entrance point and the NVR stores and processes this data. The data can then be used for roll call and absenteeism.
A “stranger” alert will alarm when a person who is not on the database enters the building.
The system has smart search features to enable the user to search by face, name, date, time or absentee’s. The profile of students and staff can be populated with information such as parents names and contact numbers enabling easy contact tracing. The system can be individually tailored and commissioned by the installer to suit any particular school or college requirements.
Brian Honan, C.E.O of Fortus said,
“Installing the latest technology in our schools and colleges will ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of our students, teachers, families and communities.”
