NSAI Fire Safety Standards Seminar

The NSAI Fire Safety Seminar is being held to give an update on the development work being carried out on fire safety standards within Ireland. The seminar will be of benefit to the various fire industry groups, including the CFOA, engineers, consultants etc.

Seminar details
  • Wednesday, 29th November 2017 in the Maldron Hotel, Oranmore, Galway
  • Registration at 9.30am, seminar starts at 10am & finishes at 1pm
  • The seminar is free to attend but registration is mandatory as places are limited.

  2. I.S. 3218 Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings – TBC
  3. I.S. 291 Selection, commissioning, installation, inspection and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers – Brendan Kavanagh
  4. Update on the Revision of TGD B – Chris Barry DECLG
  5. Electric Cables – Dominic Robinson, Technical Manager Eland Cables 
  6. Understanding Passive Fire Protection – David O’Reilly, Operations Officer, Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP)
  7. Furniture and materials fire testing – Brian Burke
