Ireland’s fastest growing mobile network, have selected TDS’ pioneering visitor system, tdsvisitor, to be implemented into their facility
Three Ireland are Ireland’s leading mobile phone network that has recently acquired former mobile giant, o2. Three was formed in 2005 and since then has raised over 500,000 subscribers to its network. Three operates on 2G, 3G and a state of the art 4G network and boasts over 95% coverage nationwide with 35% market share in Ireland. Three Ireland’s head office is based in Dublin and has over 5000 employees nationwide. Being a telecommunications company, a unique requirement of three was the installation and usage of a variety of hardware into the facility for visitor control. This included installing both tdsvisitor kiosks and smart tablets, thus allowing their visitors to check themselves in through a variety of hardware options, whilst also avoiding the possibility of generating crowds within reception.
By implementing tdsvisitor, Three Ireland now have a complete visitor life cycle that enhances visitors experience and manages responsibility for the hosts of the visitor. Upon arrival visitors will be asked to check in, where they will have to provide their name, details of their visit, who they are meeting with and will be asked to accept the terms and conditions when entering the site. All visitors will have their photos taken and be provided with paper labels complete with their image and date of visit for identification purposes. Personnel within the building will be notified upon their visitor’s arrival via email or mobile SMS allowing them to plan for visitors in the future in a safe, friendly, secure and efficient way. tdsvisitor allows Three to track their visitor’s movements, showing real-time movement, allowing Three to account for who is on site and who isn’t.
The pioneering visitor management systems recording capabilities provides accurate real-time, graphic reporting and dashboards. tdsvisitor is an opportunity to record entire on-site visitor tracking and ensures health & safety compliance of all personnel. With a visitor’s details being able to be booked in advance of arrival via an online secure webpage, this gives the visitor the opportunity to check-in immediately on arrival on the site, notifying the particular host of their arrival.
