IDS adds new 2MP ANPR Camera to their range

IDS present the new GeoVision LPC2210.

The GV-LPC2210 is a 2 MP colour Automatic Number Plate Recognition camera with enhanced image quality. This IP camera is designed to recognise reflec­tive license plate numbers on vehicles traveling at up to 75mph.

Its intelligent construction incorporates mul­tiple high-power LEDs and built-in IR to provide a clear image of license plates, ideal for two lane road layouts, even under low-light condi­tions at a maximum IR distance of 20m. The varifocal lens utilises the benefits of its motorised focus and zoom (2.5X optical zoom) by allowing the user to remotely adjust the focus through a web interface for easy accessibility and management.

Lastly it is weather proof (IP67) and can work in environments with temperatures ranging from -40°C (40°F) to 50°C (122°F).
