Appointments to the Board of the Private Security Authority
The Minister for Justice is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill three vacancies on the Board of the Private Security Authority.
The Minister wishes to identify candidates suitable for appointment in relation to the following vacancies – one ordinary appointment, one representative of private security employers, and one representative of private security employees.
Ordinary Member
Essential
Candidates must demonstrate significant experience, at an appropriately senior level, in the following areas:
• Financial Expertise (Accountancy, Audit, Corporate Finance) and a relevant Financial Qualification
Desirable
• Demonstrable knowledge of Public procurement
• Demonstrable knowledge of Government accounting practices
• Board experience
Representative of Private Security Employers
EssentialÂ
Candidates must demonstrate significant experience, at an appropriately senior level, in the following areas:
• Sectoral knowledge/experience
• Experience as a designated representative of private security employers
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment operated by the PSA
Desirable
• Previous Board membership
• Excellent stakeholder management
Representative of Private Security Employees
Candidates must demonstrate significant experience, at an appropriately senior level, in the following areas:
Essential
• Sectoral knowledge/experience
• Experience as a designated employee representative in the security industry
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment operated by the PSA
Desirable
• Previous Board membership
• Excellent stakeholder management
