Overview

Our VE 735/6 range of Passive Infra-Red detectors offer unparalleled 60 metre long distance corridor detection, combined with a 20 metre Volumetric coverage, with Grade 2 and Grade 3 Anti-Mask versions available. A perfect solution for applications such as warehouses and retail corridor aisles, and no other Manufacturer can offer such a long range Internal motion sensor.

Passive infra-red is the most commonly used technology for motion sensors. For our indoor passive infra-red sensors, Aritech employs a concept of sophisticated mirror optics and signal processing to accurately and reliably detect the presence of an intruder in the protected area. Several patents distinguish Aritech’s passive infra-red motions sensors from other manufacturers.

Quality Mirror Optics with ‘Gliding Focus’

Our sophisticated mirror optics are shaped, reinvented, miniaturised and patented thanks to more than 45 years of industry leading experience. These optics, coupled with unique signal processing, make our motion sensors sensitive and reliable in the most challenging environments.

Sophisticated mirror optics create a dense detection pattern of continuous curtains (11 curtains on the VE series). Each mirror segment has a lens effect compensating for the distance of the person moving in front of the detector. This ‘gliding focus’ principle results in a well captured signal regardless of how close or far the person is from the detector.

Vector Enhanced processing technology

Aritech’s patented vector technology is based on a double passive infrared sensing element with a specific layout. Thanks to the specific layout of the sensor, elaborated analytics can be made on the detection signal resulting in both increased stability and sensitivity. The sophisticated vector algorithms, using pattern recognition, can easily eliminate nuisance signals and can even determine the direction of motion of the intruder. This makes the Vector range of motion sensors most suitable in situations where nuisance factors can’t be eliminated or avoided.

Accessories

The VE710 laser alignment tool is the recommended tool to use during installation for aligning the sensors in long corridor applications.  The SB01 wall and ceiling mount swivel bracket can also be used with the VE735 range.
