HKC have been serving the security industry for over two decades.  Today, HKC offers a wide range of intruder products with wired, hybrid, and complete wireless control panels.  The HKC App, launched last year, has become a huge favourite with both installers and end users alike.  The App allows complete control of the HKC system from anywhere in the world and also provides installers an opportunity to grow their recurring revenue.  HKC have developed additional communication devices to work with the App including a GSM/GPRS communicator with world sim and a Wi-Fi card. Renowned for its traditional SecureWatch wired technology, HKC’s SecureWave and APP answers the now growing trend of wireless intruder systems and smartphone technology..

Two Way Radio

SecureWave technology was launched in March 2010 with the introduction of the Hybrid SW 1070 control panel which is available with a mix of wireless zones (70) and wired zones.

SecureWave radio is two way, robust and easy to install.  Two way radio is more secure than single way technology systems because a radio message sent to the control panel by a detector is acknowledged by the panel and the detector will continue to send a message until an acknowledgment is received.   In one way systems no such acknowledgement takes place and there is therefore an increased chance of missed messages from devices.  Secondly, two way radio allows for much improved battery life.

The SecureWave product portfolio includes a range of detection devices for both perimeter and trap protection.  In addition the RF SABB (external siren) and RF Echo (internal siren) provide installers with a complete wireless solution.

Quantum 70

The Quantum is designed for the residential & SME market.  The 70 zone wireless panel comes complete with voice, integrated keypad, DTV communicator, internal siren and an on board DSL filter.

Life Safety

Life safety has become an important part of the HKC product offering.  In partnership with EI Electronics in Shannon the Company has added three life safety devices to the SecureWave portfolio.  Smoke, Heat and Carbon monoxide detectors have been enhanced to incorporate the SecureWave RF technology.

All detection and life safety devices work across both the SW 1070 and Quantum panels in addition the same batteries used in devices.

Specifying

HKC have designed an innovative specifying tool (RF Wand) that allows on-site pre install surveys & can also be used for maintenance purposes.  The Wand has an LED display and voice annunciation of signal strength.  It also has a voice recorded for recording notes during the site visit.
